FOOD:
The only thing I eat in Sunburst is their Fried Chicken.  It tastes like Chicken Joy but it's a little crispier and the cut is bigger so I don't mind paying a little more for their Chicken Meal.

The chicken meal comes with rice, french fries, and coleslaw.  For me, rice and french fries really do not go well together because it is like having carb-overload but I think Sunburst does this because other people like fries.  The coleslaw didn't look too appetizing but Geus finished it so I assume that it tasted good.  The french fries though were a little soggy.

The Fried Chicken Liver and Gizzard was made of, well, liver and gizzard cut in little pieces, dipped in flour and deep fried.  It's good but it could've used a good sauce (they just served it with vinegar) and I do not think it really goes well with potato chips.

And speaking of sauce, whenever I eat in Sunburst, I make sure that I make my own version of "Sunburst Chicken Sauce".  It's easy to make.  Put one tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce, two tablespoons of Tomato Ketchup, and one teaspoon of hot sauce (it depends on how hot you want your sauce to be, I want mine just right) on the saucer and mix them all together until it becomes one brown gooey sauce.  Try it!  I'm sure you'll like it too.

AMBIENCE/SERVICE:
Since the restaurant is inside the mall, it is just normal that when you go there it will be crowded.  Surprisingly, the service was fast.  I remember eating at their branch in Marina Mall, Mactan and it took the waiters forever to deliver my food.  In Sunburst SM, the service was fast and the waiters were attentive so it's a big plus for their branch.The thick wooden tables and chairs made the setting more homey. 

PRICE:
The Solo Chicken meal (chicken, rice, fries, and coleslaw) and the Fried Chicken Liver and Gizzard (with potato chips) cost Php 75 each.

VERDICT:
Nyss - I'll stick with the Chicken meal when I go there.
Geus - I just liked the coleslaw-chicken combination. But for me, the food here is not worth the price.
